Workshop on Music magazines in print

Date: January 20th, 2025
Facilitators: Ján Solčáni, Magdaléna Kobzová
The EM GUIDE project hosts 14 internal workshops: 12 online and 2 in person. These workshops are meant to help the project staff, and occasionally other contributors of the network, to acquire, improve, and exchange skills and knowledge relevant to the participating magazines and/or the network itself.
About the workshop:
The final three workshops in the 14-part series, including this one, were conducted by the project staff to collaboratively plan and implement activities with all magazines in the EM GUIDE network. Led by Atrakt Art, this workshop focused on sharing both theoretical and practical knowledge regarding print production, covering curation, editing, design, and distribution.
Specifically, through interactive discussions, participants collectively designed and decided on key aspects of the first EM GUIDE print magazine, which is planned to be a future annual magazine on music & more published always jointly by all members of the EM GUIDE network.
